I bought a few 12V grain of wheat bulbs at the Seattle Miniature Show last month to try lighting a club project of a Tiffany stye lamp, which will show up in another post. Looking at the music stand with the first folding chair caused a light to go off. Music Stand Light!
Having one here to measure I set to it. I will let the photos speak for themselves, it being fairly straight forward. The end caps and and integral "lamp socket" were turned out of rosewood on a watchmaker's lathe that dates back to the late 1800s. I have yet to make a scale switch for it though.
I am happy with the end result and have only a few refinements to make if and when I do another.
